39th Memorial of the L'Ambiance Plaza Tragedy

On April 23, 1987, the L'Ambiance Plaza collapsed in a devastating tragedy, taking the lives of 28 hardworking construction workers. It was a dark day that forever changed Bridgeport and left an indelible mark on the families and friends left behind.

We must never forget them, nor the sacrifices they made.
